Wendy Wright was born and raised in beautiful Lake County, California, and began drawing at a very early age.  She earned an AA degree in drawing/painting from Mendocino College and then continued to study art at the Academy of Art University, where she earned a BFA degree in illustration. Her areas of focus are posters, illustration, private commissions and digital murals.  She works both traditionally and digitally, with pencil being her favorite medium.  Some of her notable clients have been: San Francisco Public Library, Live Nation, Lu Biscuits, AARP Bulletin and Clif Bar.  Since 2010, she continues to work for the band Moonalice as one of their poster artists.  When she’s not illustrating, she enjoys spending time with friends/family, biking, being in nature, cooking, baking, traveling and living a simple meaningful life with her wonderful husband and silly cat.
